Excellent clip! That puts Mike Rowe up one notch on my guys I admire list.
That really was very good, and such an uncommon perspective these days. He echoed many things my husband is often saying about trade type work, as an electrical lineman. When people ask us how we are going to pay for all our kids' college education, we have to ask, "who says they will all want a college degree?" They may choose to develop a skilled trade! Who knows? There should always be a demand for people who are willing to work hard doing the the type of labor others would rather not.
This is really long! What I'm trying to say, is thanks for sharing that!
