I took another trip south to
Georgia this last weekend. I have to say this weekend was no different then the other times I have been to Georgia. That is I have always been impressed with the "Southern Hospitality" of the people in Georgia. I have no idea if this is a wide spread thing across the south or not. I just know that in Georgia the people there seem to be very friendly and thoughtful of others. Of course this weekend we did stay in a very nice hotel so it would be the job of the staff to be attentive to the needs of a paying customer I'm not just talking about that. You can be walking down the street in a major city and get a
"Howdy" Or better yet walk into any little shop or store and get a "How are
Ya'll" It really has impressed me to no end, you won't get that kind of thing where I live and better yet I'm starting to think you won't get it at other places in the south. After all I lived in Florida for many years and was also there back in February and I don't remember those kind of welcomes there either. So I am here to tell you keep up the good work you folks in Georgia maybe just maybe your Southern Hospitality will rub off on the rest of the country. We should all try to be as nice as the folks in Georgia. It is very refreshing to see that there are still nice people out there.

Florida isn't the south, it is the new north :)
